I think I speak for all cat owners when I say, bath time is a pain in the ass. In my case, it literally is a pain in the ass, since I always pull a muscle when quarreling with my stinky, furry baby. It's sad, but true.
Yesterday, I gave Spotty a bath. I have documented most of the bath time in photographs as it is very tragic and yet amusing for both Spotty and myself.
Bath time usually starts with me capturing Spotty and locking him in the bathroom while I prepare the tub for his highness. While I am busy getting things ready, Spotty desperately looks at the door knob, praying that it magically opens. Next, Spotty is placed into lukewarm water, usually this is the time when sad mews escape his lips. We exchange sad looks and he finally accepts his watery destiny. It's bath time!
Typically, my cat behaves himself in the tub. This is not to say, that he does not try to escape at every given opportunity. He accepts the bath but is always looking to pounce away. After he is shampooed and rinsed, Spotty is gently removed from the tub and delicately dried off.
I always attempt to dry him with the cool setting on my hair dryer, but Spotty prefers to do this step himself.
Spotty is sentimental, so he usually ignores me or gives me the stink eye for the rest of the day. Yesterday, however he took his vengeance by taking a wet nap on top of my bed. Thanks, Spotty....
Since it is pure torture for my cat, I typically bathe him a few times a year....unless he rolls around on something gross outside, then it happens more frequent!
I hope you enjoyed the kitty bath adventure, see the below video for a hilariously tragic kitty bath. The silent kitty scream, cracks me up every time.

Sunday's Best: April 24, 2011
Believe it or not, but I just finished watching Arrested Development for the very first time. I have to agree with the masses and say that I absolutely love it. The humor of the show is right up my alley, and the characters are insanely hilarious. There is one character in particular that steals the show and that is Tobias Funke, the never-nude.
If you aren't familiar with the term never-nude, it's exactly as it sounds, one that is never nude. On the show, Tobias is unable to be nude and has coped by wearing a denim cut off's as his birthday suit. Coincidentally a few weeks ago, I was referred to

Denim undies for men, or more commonly known as man jegging panties, see here. What man doesn't want the comforting stretch and style of the jegging panties? Be comfortable and in style, underneath it all. The illusion of this pair of undies is the whole fun. Putting these suckers on will be like camouflage, they'll won't be able to tell which pair is the real denim. Plus, the ladies will love the challenge... :D
I'm not sure who would pay $61 for a pair of cut off jeggings, but yah know...if you're a never-nude, this may be more comfortable then the ol' Daisy Dukes!
Now for the best of Tobias Funke, the father of never-nudes.

Tobias: "Okay, Lindsay, are you forgetting that I was a professional twice over- an analyst and a therapist. The world's first analrapist." More quotes here
This week, think of the man jegging panties and the $61 dollar price tag, and it will make you giggle.

Sunday's Best: April 9, 2011 - Wolf Shirt?
WOLF SHIRTS!!!!
They're everywhere and the hipsters love them.
They're everywhere and the hipsters love them.
For those of you dying to pick up the wolf shirt in this picture, you can get it at Wal-Mart for less than $10!
Awoooooo!
There is nothing more masculine nor hotter than the mystifying wolf shirt. There is no other animal on this planet as cool as the wolf. The wolf is the top dog, pun intended!
While wearing a wolf shirt girls will know you are:
Plus, you'll show others that you're in style and hip. Wolves are totally back in style. Facebook has a group just for cool peeps wearing wolf shirts. Don't believe me? Just look at the amazon reviews, the shirt will practically pay for itself.
In all honesty, I wish I could understand the attraction or need for the wolf shirt, but I sadly cannot! Why a wolf? Out of the thousands of animals, why the wolf? More importantly, why are we glorifying the dedication and love to the wolf by wearing a plain ol' cotton tee? Doesn't the wolf deserve a finer fabric?
Clothing manufactures have struck gold because the wolf shirt continues to sell time after time! Wolves are to men, as kittens are to grandmas. They just go together.
If you're considering a snappy wolf shirt check out, Threadless. They have some neat shirt designs, but they're too hipster and pricey, you gotta kick it old school and buy original designs. That will show all the other hipsters, how awesome and original you really are!
What are your thoughts on the wolf shirt?

Sunday's Best: Birthday Goodies
I'm a cheapo. I love free stuff. When I was younger, I looked forward to going to Costco just because I knew there would be a ton of samples! I know, it's quite sad....but this is how I roll.
Now that I am older, I sign up for e-mail newsletter's from a bunch of stores/restaurants so I can utilize my birthday to get free crap. It's almost worth putting up with the endless e-mails, almost!
This month I receive a few free items as well as some discounts on the following items:
With my $10 birthday card from Victoria's secret, I purchased Cupcake, which smells like a baked euphoria. It's not am overwhelming scent of vanilla...like most cake inspired scents. It's strikes a good balance. I also had an additional $10 secret reward card, so I bought Ocean Breeze and Pineapple. Let me tell you something...if you like tropical scents, this is for you! It's like being in a pina colada whirlwind. So tasty!
The last item, I purchased which I plan to review is:
Us, ladies are always looking for an easy way to lose weight, get rid of imperfections (i.e. love handles, cellulite, acne...you know the works!). Fat Girl Slim, promises to tone my problem areas, as long as a rub this in twice a day. I am very doubtful this will do anything...but like most girls, I am always looking for a miracle in a jar. The product claims to show results in 60 days...I will let you know in two months if my problems areas look any better.
My last Sunday's best are restaurants that offer free meals on your birthdays:
Noodles & Company
Moe's
Chili's
Red Robin

This month I receive a few free items as well as some discounts on the following items:
Left to right
Too Faced Candlelight Shadow insurance, Stila Lillium convertible color, VS Beauty Rush Cupcake, VS Island Breeze Ocean Breeze and Pineapple, Bliss Fat Girl Slim, and Philosophy Vanilla BirthdayCake.
I'm thrilled to have the Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Candlelight. I'm a huge fan of the original product, so when I found out TF made a shimmery version, my head nearly imploded.
Candlelight gives boring eyeshadow a dewy glow that's not too terribly glittery. I even like it alone, bare, without any eyeshadow.
I also purchased lillium from Stilla. I have been looking for a natural, peachy, and creamy blush. After seeing this blush I fell in love! Did I mention that this is also convertible as a lippy? SCORE!
Naturally, I managed to damage the blush the first day I bought it. Sunday's Best: March 27, 2011
I found this adorable mug on ModCloth this week. Unfortunately, the price isn't too cute. Curse you Mod Cloth and your over priced Mugs!
If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, I would check out your local Asian store. They always have cute knick knacks for a reasonable price. My boyfriend and I found the mug below at a local Asian Specialty store. Too cute to pass up!
I have an obsession with Awkwardfamilyphotos.com. It is the guaranteed website that I refer to when I want to giggle uncontrollably. The photos on this website are amazingly terrible, but what I love most are the captions. I have laughed so hard that I have actually cried! I demand you stop what you are doing at this moment, and head on to Awkward Family Photos. Enjoy the awkwardness.
Who doesn't love a good typo mistake? It may be juvenile and immature but I still laugh at poop, especially poopped rice! Thank you, engrish typos, you make my day!
The last thing on this Sunday's Best, is Red Riding Hood
Like most kids, I heard the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Even though the story I heard and read was mildly tame compared to some of the Grimm Fairy Tales, I always felt a teeny bit bad for the wolf. He's just hungry, and Red is just conveniently there! Plus, how dense is Red that she can't tell there's a furry creature cross-dressing as her grandmother? Seriously, Red. Open your damn eyes!
Fascinated by the timeless story, I saw Red Riding Hood. Judging by the trailer, you will notice that the target audience are teenage girls. This is not a sappy movie, but you can definitely tell it is meant for a younger audience. The movie itself gives the tale of Little Red Riding Hood a totally different spin. Unfortuantely, I cannot provide you with a more detail summary, without giving some of the plot away!
I did not find the film scary, but instead it was suspenseful and full of mystery. I enjoyed paranoia and suspicion of the townsfolk, it almost reminded me of The Crucible. The wolf was not terrifying but also not cheesy. I was content with it. Overall, I would suggest the movie.

Sunday's Best: March 20, 2011
In an effort to ensure I am updating my neglected blog, I have decided to create a theme: Sunday's Best. If all goes according to plan, Sunday's Best posts will feature favorite products, videos, images, and anything else I may find during the week that I really enjoyed and want to share!
Although, I will be updating each week with Sunday's Best, I encourage you to send and share anything cool that you may have discovered during the week! I <3 sharing (especially cute cat pics and vids).
I have become enthralled with baking blogs and one blog that I really enjoy reading is Confessions of a Cookbook Queen. Her creations always looks delicious, but what I love most are the hilarious entries that Kristan combines with each recipe. They're hilarious!

Now for some favorite products
1. EOS lipbalms are the bomb! They smell great and glide across chapped lips easily! I have both Summer Fruit and Honeydew. Summer Fruit is by far the yummiest! It's like being seduced by mango and peach!
2. OPI's Black Shatter nail polish is a fun and fast way to spice up boring nails. Just one swipe on top of any color nail polish and you will magically watch the black "shatter" before your eyes!
3. Bath and Body Work's Carried Away shimmer lotion and gel. This is a must for all the glitter crack heads. SO SHIMMERY! What is amazing about this product is that you, as the user can select how much lotion and how much shimmer you want in each pump. The top part of the bottle rotates and allows you to pick if you want more lotion, or less glitter in each pump.
4. Bath and Body Work's Carried Away Spray. It smells floral and flirty, perfect for the Spring season.
5. OPI's Katy Perry collection Not like the Movies, I thought was going to hate this color but to my surprise it is very pretty and completely different from my other polishes! It relects light green and pale pink, from a first glance it can appear silver, but upon closer look you can see the beautiful mix of green and pink.
6. Lastly, Seche Vite topcoat is awesome. I know this top coat is expensive ($9) but it's totally worth it. It dries your nails in top speed and add a beautiful gloss to any polish.
Hope you enjoyed, until next week!
