I'm the green.....err red fairy

I found my fairy skirt from high school. It still fits! Although it really consists of red stretchy shorts the red fabric is stiched to the band of the shorts. It's not stretchy so I had to wiggle into it.

I'm not sure what I will be for halloween this year. I'm not a fan of buying costumes...they are so expensive. I usually try to piece something together from my closet or roam the thrift stores for something. I'm thinking robin hood for this year. All I need is green tights or leggings.

Grooming cat

I went to a festival today and on top of this random car was this cat grooming. I'm a creepy cat lady so I found him too adorable to resist. Grooming kitty, I'm on to you! I caught you in the act!

Rain!

While taking photos for my Cassandra tutorial, it started raining. I liked this photo so I wanted to share it. I love the rain. Girls always complain about their hair in the rain, I hardly ever complain because my hair is always pin straight. The rain does nothing to my hair, aside from getting it wet. I love rainy days in the summer because it always smells so earthy and fresh after the rain has stopped. Some say it smells like worms. I have not sniffed a worm sooo I can't say what kind of odor they have.

Cassandra--Soul Calibur 4

Guess what? It's my last Soul Calibur 4 Tutorial. Weeee! Well not exactly, it's been fun. I took my sweet time for sure but it got hard to draw inspiration from certain characters. I truly enjoyed creating makeup looks based off the characters. I always enjoyed playing soul calibur so coming up with makeup looks for my favorite characters, was quite fun. I hope you have enjoyed viewing them as well :D

I saved Cassandra for last because she's probably the character I never play. I'm not a fan of the short sword or swords in general...unless they are cool living whip swords like Ivy's. Poor Cassandra, I never show her love.

Java anyone?

I'm taking a Java course in school and I want to cry. It's not my cup of tea so I have to really strain myself to understand. It's been three long weeks and I'm counting down the weeks until it's over. Last night, I dreamt of Java. How pathetic is that? What's worse is that in my dream I had no idea what the coding meant or what to do. Isn't it sad that even in my dreams I fail? I woke up in the middle of the night and told myself that taking the course is torture enough, dreaming about it is unnecessary. It made me giggle.

SKUNK!

Last night we had a visitor on our porch. I had placed the trash out just by the door..not in the trash can and forgot about it. Well, my "visitor" took advantage of this situation and found some food. Something white and fluffy caught my eye by the door, when I went to check I realized it was an animal. This unknown animal had opened up the trash bag and had climbed inside. I wasn't sure what it was because it was mostly white and it's tail was so fluffy. I guessed it was a skunk and in fact it was! He was literally right outside our screen door. I thought he was adorable. I wouldn't mind having a skunk as a pet...minus the stinky gland.

Pumpkin Failure

I was in the mood to make pumpkin pie and so I made some! I'm very...messy at cooking and almost dangerous. So today was no exception. After having made the pie, I was transferring it over to the oven when 1/3 of the filling just shlopped out. ALL OVER ME! It was bad news bears. The end result came out great but it wasn't fun to clean up pumpkin.

When I heard ChaChaLish was having a Hello Kitty contest, I almost jumped out of my seat. Of course, I'm entering.
